Diana Yureni Peiris was born and brought up in France.
But she is really proud to be a Sri Lankan and she won't forget her origins. She lives in Paris and she is still a teenager. She have one brother and two sisters.
She's a member of the "Young Sri lankans association of France".
Dancing have always been her passion & her greatest interest. She started ballet dancing at the age of 5 for about four years by a Portuguese teacher in Paris. At the same period, she was interessed to do Sri lankan dancing. Always watching Sri lankan dancing videos, or Indian moovies :: she learned alot with them.
She went to a Sri Lankan kandyan dancing class by Kamala bellantuda and Srima Chandrasekara in Paris and participated to their three dancing shows called "Ranga tharanga" 1 (2005),2 (2007) & 3 (2010).
She has performed for Sri Lankan popular singers in France ( T.M Jayarathne, Shihan Mihiranga, Surendra Perera, Amila Nadeeshani, Amaradewa, Sangeeth Wickramasinghe, Angeline Goonathilaka, Rookantha Gunathilaka, Chandralekha Perera, Amarasiri Peiris and others) & performed in some other countries too (Sri Lanka, Germany, Switzerland..)
Have performed (Dance) with Kanchana Mendis, Sangeetha Weerarathne etc..
She participated to ::
- The "BRIDE AND GROOM WEDDING FAIR 2010" - 9th of July 2010 in Sri Lanka - Dressed as a "flower bride" by Anoma & Angika Athukorala. It was her first show.
- Tv program on TNL called RIDHMA RAATHRIYA with Romesh, Shan, Sajjad, Ayomi, Duleeka & Gayesha - 10th of July 2010.
